Flight Surname DNA Project

If you are a Flight and your Father was a Flight, I’d love to talk, even if we don’t initially appear to be related. I’ve recently started a Flight Y-DNA surname project over at FTDNA. In might be able to get you a discount on a Y-DNA test, or in some cases if you are a descendant of a particular Flight I might be willing to pay for the test.

Here are a few Flight families I’m very interested in connecting with. If you are a descendant I’d love to share notes. If you are a direct male descendant of one of these families (you are a male, born with the surname Flight, and one of these men is an ancestor) then I’m particularly interested in getting in touch.

(Note: I have not verified the information above. As always with genealogy, it is subject to a high likelihood of error and shouldn’t be used without proof through the original sources. I’m listing the data here simply for search purposes, not as documentation of those people. Yes, I know Newfoundland was not part of Canada at the time of these events, I’m using the current country for search purposes.)
